I am not registered as a health practitioner of any type. My qualifications (with the exception of the MFM, Master of Family Medicine, from Monash university) are from the University of Auckland.
Where is the practice?
The practice is located in Albert St, in the Auckland CBD.
Booking a consultation
The quickest way to make an appointment is by phone (021-2180018). Enquiries can also be made by email to email@example.com
First, the blood tests
It is useful if you have copies of your previous blood tests sent to, or with you to show to, me.
The initial consultation
You will be asked to complete a medical history questionnaire and to sign a form acknowledging that you understand I am not registered as a health practitioner of any kind.
You can expect the consultation to begin with a number of questions about your history as this relates to diabetes or pre-diabetes, and about your daily eating and exercise routines, if you have any.
Then there will be a discussion with you about type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes, its causes, and the general approaches to reversal.
Finally, having heard what options you prefer, I will suggest a plan that aims to reverse your diabetes or pre-diabetes.
You can expect to receive a summary letter in the post or by email within a day or so of the consultation. I anticipate that many people will want to discuss this with their family, GP, or nurse.
We collect payment ($100) prior to consultations. We accept payment by cash or credit card. We do not have an eftpos facility. If you are unable to pay, or wish to pay by instalments, please let us know when you make your appointment.
Credit card payments are accepted through Paypal.
Email and Skype
Not everybody lives in Auckland. I am prepared to offer advice by email, or to consult via Skype. There is no fixed fee for either of these. We do welcome any donation to our charity, Avondale Educational Resources Trust. Donations can be made through the Paypal button below.
